It's been a while since this blog has been updated. Just thought I would let everyone know that the Reynolds' family is still alive and kickin' but just a little slower than before.
We have been destroying our home and rebuilding it the past few months and hopefully we will be able to get it rebuilt before Greg gets home. Debi has finished painting all the bedrooms, the kitchen and dining room and the living room. She painted all the bedrooms and hallway in a light tan and then went one shade darker for the main color in the kitchen, dining room and living room. Then we painted one wall in the living room with a combination of colors all meshed together. Another wall was painted in a chocolate brown. She also painted a brown wall in the dining room between the dining room and kitchen. She was not sure whether she would like all the dark colors but I think it is growing on her. I will include pictures in the near future.
I, however, just stood and watched. Now it is my turn. I have partially finished the tile back splash around the sink but ran out of tile. I also have torn up the carpet in the living room to make way for tile. The vinyl is gone in the kitchen and dining room and the underlayment is all but kaput. It will be gone by tonight and backer board will start to be installed tomorrow. Hopefully the tile will be installed on the floor and the wall on Saturday. We'll wait a week and grout the tile and seal it and it may be completed by Thanksgiving. (Cross your fingers). I will take some pictures tonight and put them on the blog.
Sorry Jill and Tyson for not getting your headboard finished yet. Maybe by Christmas.
